I've Got the Greatest Grandma I dropped my ice cream on Grandma’s couch But she really didn’t care. My toys got scattered through out her house But my Grandma didn’t care... As I ran and jumped and slid I thought she paid no mind at all To everything I did. Instead, she watched and when the time was right With tender arms outstretched She’d grab for me as I’d run by And draw me to her breast. With a loving smile and a gleam in her eye, She'd sit me on her lap... And as I’d squirm, she’d whisper to me... “I think its time for a nap”. It will make me smile when I look back How we'd rock and read and play, And the homemade cookies and milk we’d share At the very end of the day. As time goes by, the toys will change...and Often these words you may not hear... But I’ll always be your “Little Angel" And you’ll be my “Grandma Dear”. I love you Grandma.
